One of my friends told me that, elections in some east countries is very brutal. They've killed one another to gain the position that they've eyeing and running for. And some authorities is so blinded because they've receive some stuff for their own good.

This has to stop, but how?

when you say east, is it east europe or asia. I would assume that since there is an election then the country is run through democracy. You have to understand that politics is a very dirty business and this is all over the world. take the usa for example. JFK, he was shot. and that is a west country so, where ever there is politics and power there is also violence.

Honestly, I do not know how it works in the phillipines, my only advice to you is, vote with your mind not with your heart and do not get involved with politics, you cannot stop them and you have more important things to do rather then getting your self killed because of politics.
